  The chapter will hold its first fund raiser on September 22 by hosting a dove shoot at Parches Cove Hunting Preserve.  This will be an all day hunt.  The cost will be $30 per gun and spots are being reserved on a first come/first serve basis.  For more information email the AWA-Marshall County Chapter .  (Eye protection must be worn)

 

--  The gates will open at 5:30 a.m. 

--  At the end of the dove hunt, the Chapter will give away a shotgun.  This will be done by $10 per card, card cut with a minimum participation level required, otherwise the gun will be reserved for a future event..

--  Parches Cove Hunting Preserve requires that we  dove hunt with a light load shotgun shell.  The shot size must be no bigger than 7 1/2.

  Start making plans to join us at the First Annual Marshall County - AWA Duck Season "Kickoff" on October 27, 2001, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.  The cost will be $10 per plate for adults and $7 a plate for kids 12 and under.  There will be a raffle and silent auction during the kickoff, with many items to interest the duck hunter and the wives too.
